This passion has increased over the years as Doug has had many interactions with customers, where he could empathize with their “if only I had known” moments as the customers realized that they could have saved a lot of money by choosing a different course of action in the past
Doug is enjoying the slower pace of running a smaller company and having the time to focus on the finer details of increasing the quality at every level of the company. Doug also enjoys the personal interactions with all of the people in the company that are possible only in a smaller organization. Doug is happily married and has 4 lovely daughters, who keep the household in Kitchener, Ontario quite lively.
